ALAIN CARRé
ACTOR
An invitation on a journey of words, into a unique space between poetry and theatre. Actor-director and troubadour of the verb, Alain Carré takes us on an ambitious journey, proving that the art of saying is also a performing art worthy of the stage.
On the stage, he has acted and directed Amélie Nothomb, Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, Pierre Corneille, Alfred Jarry, Marguerite Duras, Alfred de Musset, Joseph Vebret, Molière, Salvador Dali, François Villon, F. Dürrenmatt R. de Obaldia...
Music captivates him and he weaves it into most of his shows. His encounters with Jean-Claude Malgoire et Gabriel Garrido have also led him into directing operas, an activity he throws himself into with passion. He has also worked with the orchestra as a narrator, directed by John Nelson, Charles Dutoit, Yann-Pascal Tortelier, Roberto Fores Seres, Arie Van Beek…
But one of his greatest thrills comes from the unexpected performances he has staged with pianist François-René Duchâble , with over 100 creations under their belts!
Above all, Alain Carré is a voice to be found on hundreds of CDs from his extensive repertory, along with many recordings for France Culture
